Military figure. He was a colonel of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina and commander of the defense of Žepa during the War in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bosnian National Hero. He was captured and killed after the fall of Žepa in 1995. Avdo Palić remains were exhumed from the mass grave in November 2001. He was buried in the cemetery of Ali Pasha's Mosque in Sarajevo.
