He lived in the Rupert and Acequia area all his life. In January, he celebrated 53 years of marriage to Audrey R. Neiwerth. They were married Jan. 30, 1955, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He worked at Kraft Foods for 32 years and retired in 1988 due to health problems. He was a member of the Community of Christ in Twin Falls.
Daniel enjoyed carpentry, flower gardening, giving hospitality to friends and neighbors, attention to pets, supporting his wife in her busy schedules; and he was always supportive of others' ideas and ambitions. He loved all animals and they loved him.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Audrey R. Neiwerth; children, Rebecca (Larry) Stoller, Danette (Rob) Peterson, and Georgia (Jeff) Herdman; seven grandchildren, Adrienne, Kristen, Toni, Annie, Shylah, Alex and Emma; brother, George Neiwerth; sisters, Rosemary Becker, Lucille Wakewood, Elsie Bartley and Linda Richan; and his pets, Miss Kitty and Spiffy. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Barbara Neiwerth; brother, Herbert Neiwerth; grandparents, the Kroskobs and Neiwerths; son, Kerry Neiwerth; and an infant brother.
