Military Figure. He was the Pasha of Herzegovina, Ottoman administrator, military leader, captain of Stolac and reformer of Herzegovina.

He is known for suppressing the uprising of Husein - captain Gradaščević, in which he played a crucial role together with Smail - aga Čengić. Due to the merits and heroism shown during the suppression of the uprising for the Autonomy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sultan Mahmud II declared him the Governor (Pasha) of Herzegovina.

Ali Pasha reformed Herzegovina and laid the foundations for the future economic and economic success of Herzegovina with his numerous reforms and changes.

Ali - pasha Rizvanbegović was killed in 1851 in Banja Luka after he was deposed from the position of Governor of Herzegovina by Omer-pasha Latas.

He was buried in the harem of the Ferhadija Mosque in Banja Luka.
