Ludmila Szczepanski, age 60, beloved wife of Roman Szczepanski of Ansonia, CT, died in her home surrounded by her family. Born in Szczecin, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Stefan and Genowefa Maciag Smolag. Mrs. Szczepanski was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church of Ansonia. She possessed a zest for higher education and earned many trade certificates and degrees in diverse areas. In addition to her husband of 33 years, she is survived by her devoted children, Daniel M. Szczepanski of Naugatuck and Joanna A. Szczepanski of Ansonia; a sister, Elizabeth Rosa of NY; and her cherished granddaughters, Mikayla and Isabella Szczepanski of Naugatuck. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Joseph Church 32 Jewett St., Ansonia.
