Frank Edward Kosak of Verona, Virginia (formerly of Laurinburg, NC) passed away on April 9, 2022. He was born in Laurinburg, NC on January 1, 1950 to the late Frank Henry and Martha Simpson Kosak.
As a young man, he excelled in school athletics at Laurel Hill High School and Scotland High School and won a baseball scholarship to N.C. State University. Later in life, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing the sport for as long as his health allowed. He was well-read and a history buff who liked to engage in discussions about the state of the world with his friends.
Eddie, as he was known to friends and family, worked as an electrician for most of his adult life—first in partnership with his late father in North Carolina; then moving to Staunton, Virginia in the early 1980s where he opened K&K Electric and operated that business until his death. He will be missed by his family, his many friends, and associates.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, two daughters, two sisters, two step-children, and also seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A committal service to inter his ashes was held at the Livingston Cemetery in Laurel Hill, NC on December 11, 2022.
