He began his acting career and became one of the most celebrated Cải Lương actors in the golden age of Cải Lương. Throughout his acting career, he starred in many theater productions such as "Khi Người Điên Biết Yêu" and "Ăn Trộm Hết Thời" with his colleagues such as Phùng Há, Năm Châu, Tám Danh and Bảy Nhiêu. He also starred in films such as "Lan Và Điệp" (1972), "Sợ Vợ Mới Anh Hùng" (1974) and "Năm Vua Hề Về Làng" (1975). Following the reunification of Vietnam, he continued his career. He was awarded "People's Artist" by the Vietnamese government.
