Find A Grave contributor Lilbuddy has made a suggestion to you regarding your
Find A Grave memorial for Emerson Snell.

The proper name is Emma Amelia [maiden name: Snell] Hocker.

She is the daughter of the Honorable Granville Snell #24842098 and Emily Ann
[Poage] Snell #24842187.

Emma was born on Apr 19, 1845 (which matches entry)

A Hopkins Genealogy book published in 1905 reports her marriage to P.S. Hocker.
I'll attempt to research him...he was a mayor of this city, during his lifetime.
[[Googled his name, found in[[http://books.google.com/books]]. Her husband has
ties noted in Boone County archives to helping establish the Chicago & Alton
Railroad, Centralia, MO in 1878.]

PS., Emma is a third cousin, 3 times removed to me...

**This SHOULDN'T be in conflict with (another) Emma Snell buried in Centralia,
MISSOURI, whom married A WF Snell. I didn't spend time reviewing if WF Snell is
her brother. her brother, Watson Snell (Aug 12, 1851 - ?) is reported with
birthdate as noted.
