Cải Lương stage actress and singer. She was best known for her roles in stage such as Châu Bích Lệ in "Châu Bích Lệ" and Oanh Kiều in "Gánh Cỏ Sông Hàn." Born Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Hương to a artistic Cải Lương family in Bến Tre. She began her acting and singing career at a young age with a debut role in "Trụ Vương Đắc Kỷ." In 1962, she won a Thanh Tâm prize for her performance in "Châu Bích Lệ." Throughout her acting career, she starred in many theater productions such as "Tiếng Súng Một Giờ Khuya," "Nạn Con Rơi," "Nửa Bản Tình Ca," "Tìm Con Trong Đảng Cướp," "Người Anh Khác Mẹ," and "Cô Gái Sông Đà" with her colleagues such as Út Trà Ôn, Hữu Phước, Hoàng Giang, Hùng Cường, Út Bạch Lan and Phương Quang. In addition to her acting career, she recorded tân and vọng cổ songs. Following the reunification of Vietnam, she continued her career, starring in the audio and video productions of Cải Lương plays. She was awarded "Meritorious Artist" by the Vietnamese government.
