Marco Stohl Osterloh Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother Marco Stohl Osterloh passed away peacefully on January 29, 2008 at the age of 88. She was surrounded by her loving children.
She married George Pasco Osterloh, July 5, 1941 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
George passed away August 10, 2003. Marco was born February 11, 1919 in Brigham City Utah, the youngest of seven girls, to Orpha Hunsaker and Joseph Nelson Stohl.
They later moved to Salt Lake City and she attended Douglas Elementary, Roosevelt Jr. High and East High School where she met her lifelong love, George. She attended the University of Utah and was a member of Delta Delta Delta. She worked at First Security Bank and Deseret Book Store. Marco was a devoted mother to her three children, Sydney, Wade and Shelley. She had many challenges in life but faced them all with faith, endurance and love. She was an amazing woman who was always concerned about others. Her kindness, compassion and strength touched and inspired many. She was a Girls Scout leader, a founding member of the Assistance League of Salt Lake City, a former member of the Neighborhood Garden Center, Chamber of Commerce, Ambassador Club and Salt Lake Country Club.
Marco and George had a lifetime hobby of collecting antique cars and clothing. Marco was an expert in fashion history and was well known for her antique clothing fashion shows. Marco is survived by Sydney (Gary) Stoddard, Wade (Judy) Osterloh, Shelley (Richard) Young. Adoring Grammy to Brooke ( Eric) Vargas, Cody Stoddard, Scott Osterloh, Amanda Rowland, Ahren Young, Logan Young and Marco Young. Great Grammy to Elise, Evan and Brielle Vargas.
Funeral Services will be at noon, Friday February 1 at the Wasatch Lawn, 3401 Highland Dr., S.L.C. Friends are welcome to visit starting at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to your favorite charity.
