He began his acting career at a young age and joined many theater troupes until he stopped acting due to conflicts with theater managers. After working at his mother's tailor shop, he returned to his acting career by joining the Tiếng Ca Sông Cửu troupe. Throughout his career, he starred in many theater productions such as "Chiêu Quân Cóng Hồ," "Áo Vải Phủ Long Bào," "Công Chúa Tóc Thơm," "Hồn Thiêng Sông Núi," "Bụi Mờ Ải Nhạn," and "Tiếng Súng Một Giờ Khuya." He also recorded tân and vọng cổ. He continued acting until his death.
