Cải Lương stage actor and singer. He was best known for his roles such as Lương Sơn Bá in "Lương Sơn Bá – Chúc Anh Đài," Triệu Khuông Dẫn in "Trảm Trịnh Ân," and Sơn in "Giũ Áo Bụi Đời." He was born Võ Văn Ngoan to a poor family in Saigon. He dropped out of school to support his family during difficult times. At the age of 14, he began his acting career in the Cải Lương theater by joining Đồng Ấu Hoa Thế Hệ troupe after months of studying and training. Throughout his career, he starred in many theater productions such as "Mục Liên Tìm Mẹ," "Duyên Kiếp," "Xử Án Bàng Quý Phi," "Xa Phu Đi Sứ," and "Hòn Vọng Phu" with his colleagues such as Tài Linh, Ngọc Huyền, Thanh Thanh Tâm, Thoại Mỹ, Thanh Hằng, and Kim Tử Long. In 1995, he won a gold medal for his performance in "Bức Ngôn Đồ Đại Việt." In addition to his stage career, he recorded tân and vọng cổ songs and starred in films such as "Cô Bé Mộng Mơ" (1992). He was awarded "Meritorious Artist" by the Vietnamese government.
