Mrs. Manuela (Dumke) "Mausi" Crider, 40, of 204 Hawbaker Avenue, Waynesboro, PA, was pronounced dead at 11:13 A.M. Friday, March 16, 2007 in the emergency room of Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, MD. Death was the result of an automobile accident on Route 316 South of Waynesboro.
She was born on July 15, 1966 in Weisbotten, Germany, she was the daughter of Gunter Dumke of Nordlingen, Germany and the late Eleonore (Waldtraut) Dumke. She lived her early life in Heuchlingen, Germany.
She graduated from high school in Germany.
She and her husband, Mr. Kirby M. Crider, Jr., were married on November 25, 1983 in Heuchlingen, Germany. They moved to the present residence in September 2002.
Mrs. Crider was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked for The Village of Laurel Run in Fayetteville, PA and a few other nursing homes in the area, and was last employed at Quincy United Methodist Home in Quincy, PA.
She was a member of the Waynesboro Y.M.C.A.
A great part of her life was helping people, having family picnics, cooking and taking family vacations.
In addition to her father, and husband, she is survived by five sons, Kirby M. Crider IV; Anthony W. "Andy" Crider, Wayne A. Crider and Michael A. Crider all of Waynesboro; Robert E. Crider of Thurmont, MD, two grandchildren, three sisters, Ute Link of Germany; Martina Powalisz of Orlando, FL; Kerstin Poppe of Nordlingen, Germany; three brothers, Henry Avery who says "Ich liebe dich"; Karl Heinz and Robby Azemi all of Germany and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Uta Reeves.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 23, 2007 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad Street, Waynesboro with Pastor Bill Schuit officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery near Quincy.
