Francis "Frank" J. Reichert, Jr., 70, a Belton, MO resident, formerly of Lee's Summit and Blue Springs, passed away peacefully at home, under hospice care, with his loving family by his side. Frank was born on December 4, 1952, to Francis Joseph and Martina (Haas) Reichert.
Frank was united in Marriage to Patricia "Patti" Joan Venable on May 31, 1980, at their home in Blue Springs, Missouri.
Frank graduated high school from St. Joseph Military Academy in Hays, Kansas. After high school, he went to Fort Hays State University where he graduated with his degree in accounting. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves from 1971 to 1974. Following his time in the Army, Frank started working for the United States Government. He worked in several different agencies. He spent time with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, the U.S. Governments Resolution Trust Corporation and as a Bank Examiner for the FDIC, from where he retired.
Frank was devoted to both his Lord and his family. He was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Frank was also a devoted fan and season ticket holder of both the Kansas City Royals and the University of Kansas Jayhawks.
Frank is survived by his wife, Patti; his son, Josh and his wife Cassie of Blue Springs, MO; his three daughters, Kalee Lundmark and her husband Luke of Hays, KS, Tiffany White and her husband Taylor of Raymore, MO and Kristen Reichert of Kansas City, MO. His siblings; Alvera Reichert of Wabash, IN, Barbara Robinson of Verona, WI, Paulette Reichert of Hays, KS, Norma Pipkin of Hays, KS, Larry Reichert of Hays, KS and Tom Reichert and his wife Linda of Hays, KS. Frank is also survived by ten grandchildren; Jakob, Noah, Hannah, Abby, Ethan, Ella, Leah, Mattie, Finn and Emme.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; Jakob Reichert, his sister; Mary Ellen Reichert, and his brothers-in-law; Greg Robinson and Mike Pipkin.
