"Mrs. Maria Enck died on Saturday evening at 8 o'clock at the United Zion Home north of Lititz, after a short illness, aged 82 years and 27 days. Her maiden name was Sauter and was the daughter of Jonas and Elizabeth Stauter and was born in Millport. Her husband died thirteen years ago. She was at the United Brethren church at Hopeland where she resided for many years. She is survived only by nephews and nieces. She was the last of twelve children. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon with services at the home and the Hopeland U.B. Church and interment in the adjoining cemetery."
