Peggy Nash Greiner went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 8, 2008 following a long period of ill health. Peggy was born on May 20, 1952, in South Bend, Indiana, the beloved daughter of John and Lois Nash. Peggy was raised in St. Paul, Minnesota alongside her brother, John Jr. and sister, Valerie. While attending Marymount College she met her husband, John Greiner, a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Belboir, at a fall mixer dance. Peggy and John were married April 30, 1977 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Peggy's four boys became the loves of her life and she subsequently devoted her life to them and her husband. Peggy was actively involved in her church, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan; and Michigan Military Moms, as she was the proud mother of two active servicemembers. Peggy's wit and warmth brought joy to everyone who knew her. Preceded in death by her father, brother and sister, she is survived by her husband of 31 years, John; her mother, Lois Nash of St. Paul, Minnesota; and her four sons, Jack (Jennifer) Greiner of Ypsilanti, MI, granddaughter Natasha; Matthew (Megan) Greiner of Grand Rapids, MI, granddaughter Grace; Daniel (Karen) Greiner of Ypsilanti, MI, grandson Brendon; and Timothy Greiner of Ypsilanti, MI.
