After being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in June, Jim had to have surgery to remove his colon. Since then, he has had long hospital and rehabilitation stays in order to regain his strength and get back to the physical shape he was once in. Unfortunately, just this past week, he was diagnosed with COVID. He was brought to Valley Hospital and upon arrival he was diagnosed with multiple brain bleeds and then fell into a coma. My mother in law, Stacy, as well as my wife Carli and her siblings, Ashley, Mackenzie and Brendan are devastated at the loss of Jim and grieving together during this terribly difficult time. Jim was an amazing Dad and naturally a great Pop-Pop to my boys, Hayes & Wells. He will be missed everyday.
