" She united with the Mill Creek Baptist Church about 45 years ago, and was a faithful member till her death.
She had been afflicted with rheumatism for more then 20 years and had not walked for 19 years. Her suffering had been terrible, but she bore it with unusual patience. She was a grandchild of Rev. Rice McCoy, a prominent Baptist minister. She was baptized by William McCoy, Paster of Mill Creek Church about 47 years ago. The funeral was held Saturday at 1 PM at the residence, interment in Crown Hill Cemetery.
She was taken care of by her daughter Nannie E. Marshall
