She was born on February 26, 1944 in Antigo, a daughter of Herman and Elsie (Simmons) Rueger. She married Thomas Sinkler on April 22, 1967 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2012.
She was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1962.
Sharon was employed at Duffy's Chicken and Ribs in Antigo from 1988 to 1996 and at Farmer's Home Restaurant from 1993 to 2023.
She enjoyed bowling, going to the Hodag Country Festival, bird watching, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be forever remembered for her famous potato dumplings. She was a proud grandma and great-grandma "GG" who attended all her grandchildren's events. Sharon was the life of the party and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include two daughters, two sons, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister, and sisters-in-law.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Ida Kahn and Mary Henry; brothers Harold, Herman, William, and Leonard; and longtime friend, Carolyn Hitz.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 9, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Pastor Dick Kendall officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, September 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. all at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for Antigo Youth Bowling.
