Slovak Soprano. Patricia Janečková was born in Münchberg, Germany to Slovak parents who soon moved to Ostrava. She has been singing since she was four years old. After finishing elementary school, she began studying at the Janáček Conservatory and the Gymnázium in Ostrava. Her first appearance on stage was in Ostrava's Antonín Dvořák Theatre, where she also performed for the first time with the Ostrava Janáček Philharmonic. After winning the "Talentmania" competition, she released her debut album in collaboration with composer, conductor and producer Oskar Rózsa. In addition to her concert activities, she attended private singing lessons with the opera singer Eva Drízgová-Jirušová. In 2014, she won the International Liturgical Music Singing Competition Concorso di musica sacra in Rome. In February 2022, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
