"SHERIDAN -- Funeral services for former Sheridan resident Ann (Goodman) Vick, 81, will be held today at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sheridan with Bishop Ronald B. Kuzin officiating. Interment will follow in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Vick died at her home in SeaTac, Wash., on Aug. 18, 1997. She was born April 10, 1916, in Billings, Mont., the daughter of Henry and Kate (Glantz) Goodman. She married Harold Vick on March 23, 1935, in Sheridan. The couple ranched on the Walters Ranch near Ucross, on the Hepp Ranch near Buffalo, and then purchased a ranch in Florence, Mont. They had returned to the Sheridan area and leased at ranch at Cat Creek and later a ranch on Big Goose near Sheridan. They received the Farm Family of the Year award in 1972 from the Sheridan County FMHA.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved ranching, her horses and her constant companion for the last 12 years, her poodle, 'Kricket'. She was a member of the LDS church. She moved to Washington in September 1994 to be closer to her children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one daughter, one granddaughter, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her son, Dale Vick, and her daughter, Barbara Engdahl, both of SeaTac; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Rachel Schmidt of Buffalo, Fredda Kaufman of Boise, Idaho, and Rose Zowada and Helen Kramer, both of Sheridan; and two brothers, Bill Goodman of Big Horn and Walt Goodman of Story."
