Author, Poet. Hadžem Hajdarević was Bosnian poet, prose writer, essayist, publicist, writer for children, editor and arranger of works by other authors, researcher in the field of language. He was born on July 18, 1956 in Kruševo near Foča. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo. He worked as an expert associate at the Language Institute. He published twelve books of poetry, several poetry selections, then several books of prose, columns, essays, which, when it comes to genre, makes him one of the most diverse contemporary Bosnian authors. Books of selected verses by Hajdarević were published in Bulgarian, French, English, Slovenian, Polish and German. It has been translated into Arabic, Flemish, Hungarian, Macedonian, Danish, Russian, Armenian, Italian, Turkish, Ukrainian and other languages... He is the winner of several literary awards: Trebinje Poetry Evenings Award (1981), "Skender Kulenović" Award (1996 ), the "Planjax" award for the best book of poems (2005), several BiH and regional awards for the best short story, etc. He is represented in all recent anthologies of Bosnian and Bosniak poetry and short stories. Hajdarević is one of the authors of the Dictionary of the Bosnian Language (Sarajevo, 2007), co-author of the Spelling Handbook of the Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian Language with the Basics of Grammar (Sarajevo, 2013), etc. He sang the Bosnian language of some of the most important Bosnian poets who wrote in oriental languages , like Divan Fadil-pasha Šerifović. In Bosnian, he also sang Ilahinama by the Persian classic Feriduddin Muhammed Attar (XII and XIII centuries), and Qasida-i-burda by the Egyptian poet Abu Abdullah Sherefuddin el-Busiri from the XII century. century.
