Rhodes, Forrest E., 100, of Johnstown, passed away on December 31, 2023. Born July 12, 1923, son of the late Waldo and Sarah (Davis) Rhodes. Survived by daughter, Pamela Jones (David); and sons, Todd (Sara) and Jim (Theresa) Jones. Forrest was employed at Bethlehem Steel for many years. He proudly served our country and is a WWII Airforce veteran. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Hindman Funeral Homes, 146 Chandler Ave., Johnstown. A service will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, 856 Benshoff Hill Rd., Johnstown, visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kansas Veteran's Home, 1220 WWII Memorial Dr., Winfield, KS, 67156. If donations are made via check, the memo line should say "Resident Benefit Fund/Activities."
