Obituary.
Terah, son of John and Mary Templin, was born in Ohio August 9, 1831. In young manhood he moved with his parents to Indiana, where he remained until the spring of 1862 when he removed to Nebraska, where he remained until 1895, when he came to Oklahoma, and died January 21, 1907, aged 75 years.
In 1856 he was married to Amy A. Straughan. To this union were added eight children, four boys and four girls, two of which died in infancy. In 1876 he was bereft of his companion and he trod the pathway of life alone until the year 1877 when he was married to Lucinda Walls. To this union was given one son and one daughter. In 1887 he was again bereft of his partner.
In the year 1893 he was united in marriage to Nancy Walls, who with eight children and many friends are left to mourn the loss of one they loved.
Funeral services at the home conducted by Rev. I. Frazier, after which the body was laid to rest in the Keller cemetery north west of Chandler.
