Joseph Wallace "Scotty" Scott, age 83, of Toledo, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Detroit Ave. He was born in Kane, Wyoming on Tuesday, June 3, 1924, to Herschel and Mae (Nebel) Scott. Joe retired from the U.S. Postal service as a letter carrier with 35 years of service. He was a member of the National Assoc. of Letter Carriers, loved sports and was the best shortstop to emerge from Greybull, Wyoming. Joe is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Sharon Arndt. Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Ellen (Struble) Scott; son-in-law, David Arndt; grandchildren, Jeff (Kim) Arndt and Shelly Shaw; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Michael, Kayla and Rebecca; great-great- grandson, Brayden; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
