OSWEGO. — Benjamin Murray,
veteran of world war 1, died Friday
morning at the home of his
brother, George Murray, Washington
blvd., following a long illness.!
Born in Oswego, Murray was the
son of John Murray and the late
Angeline Jessmore Murray.
Murray,who served in the quartermasters
corps of the army, was a longshoreman.
He was a communicant of St. Mary's church.
Surviving are his father; two sisters,
Mrs. Frank;Thayer and Mrs. Lansing James.
Oswego and eight brothers, John,Joseph,
George, Frank, Lee, Arthur; and Louis
Murray, Oswego, and Stephen Murray,
Palmyra.
The funeral will be held in St. Mary's
church at 9:30 am Monday
