He was clerk, a plasterer, and a realtor.
Four San Francisco brothers who are in various branches of Uncle Sam's service.
Four Brothers, Natives of San Francisco, Have Joined Colors
WITH the United States forces in various branches of the service are the four, sons of the late William West and wife of San Francisco. The West brothers were born and brought up in this city, and after the death of their parents maintained their home at 1144 Larkin street. Before entering the service they were in the wholesale drug business. The eldest, Harry P. West, is in the 863d Infantry, now in France; William is with a base hospital detachment en route for France; Robert is at the Presidio in the quartermaster corps, and George, the youngest, is at sea.
Harry died in 1947 in Oakland, Robert died in Contra Costa County a couple months before Harry, in 1947, and George died in 1948 in San Mateo, but since I do not know where they are buried, I only have one family linkage to Willis Jr.
