They had five children: Henry Phillip "Harry", and infant twin brother, William Walter "Willis" Jr., Robert Bachman "Bob", and George Samuel.
He was clerk, a plasterer, and a realtor.

Before entering the service they were in the wholesale drug business. The eldest, Harry P. West, is in the 863d Infantry, now in France; William is with a base hospital detachment en route for France; Robert is at the Presidio in the quartermaster corps, and George, the youngest, is at sea.
Harry died in 1947 in Oakland, Robert died in Contra Costa County a couple months before Harry, in 1947, and George died in 1948 in San Mateo, but since I do not know where they are buried, I only have one family linkage to Willis Jr.
