Anna Klosterman, age 89, died Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Sheldon Community Hospital nursing wing. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ashton Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery with Father Al Loeffelholz officiating.
Anna was born Aug. 13, 1888 in Ashton, the daughter of Mathew and Anna Vagelsburg Spartz. On Feb. 22, 1916, she married Edward Klosterman. He died Sept. 11, 1941.
Survivors include six sons; Otto of Omaha, Neb.,; Maurice of Ashton; Walter of Paul, Idaho; Donald of Sibley; Ervin of Sibley; Earl of Ashton; one daughter, Mariam Richter of Sheldon; 28 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Josephine Tremmel of Sibley.
