Christine married Ed. Lehmann on Jan. 6, 1878, in Newkirch, Germany. They were the parents of three children: Pauline Brustrom, Paul and Walter Lehmann.
Ed left Germany and went to Texas in 1881. He worked to bring his family to Texas. Christine worked in Germany also to provide the funds to go to Texas. In 1890, Christine and her daughter, Pauline, and son, Paul, joined Ed in Texas. The Lehmann's lived in Falls County before moving to the Gerald community in 1893.
