Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Sat, Oct. 12, 2002 at St. John's Catholic Church in Lastrup, MN. Visitation from 4-8 p.m. on Fri., Oct. 11, 2002 at the Brenny Funeral Home in Pierz, MN. Parish Prayers at 7 p.m., Knights of Columbus at 8 p.m. on Friday at the Funeral Home. Visitation from 9 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
Edward A. Langer was born on October 30, 1918 in Granite Township to the late Alois and Priscilla (Kapsner) Langer. He was a life time custodian at St. John's Catholic Church in Lastrup.
Survived by his wife, Bernadine Langer of Hillman; sons, Harvey Langer of Elko, James Langer (Gaylene) of St. Paul, Daniel Langer of Mora, Gerald Langer of Coon Rapids, Raymond Langer (Colleen) of Minneapolis, Robert Langer (Carol) of Coon Rapids, Jeffrey Langer (Linda) of Coon Rapids, and Mark Langer (Ellen) of Hillman; daughters, Bernice Langer of Brainerd, Patricia Nguyen (Minh) of Little Falls, Maureen Demmer (Loyal) of Marshall, and Elaine Schefers (Kelly) or St. Cloud; brothers and sisters, Keinhard, Wilfred and Victor Langer, Laura Stangl and Regina Derfler; many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
