Maxie Mullins of West Liberty, KY, departed this life Monday, February 18, 2008, at the West Liberty Nursing and Rehab Center, at the age of 83 years, 8 months, and 29 days. He was born on Tuesday, May 20, 1924, in Magoffin County, KY.
He was united in marriage to Sylvia Jean Bailey. To this union were born two children, David and Janice. Maxie was saved and baptized in 2006, while he was a resident of the nursing home.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Jean Mullins of West Liberty, KY; two children, David Mullins of West Liberty, KY and Janice Stapleton and husband Jerry of Lacy Creek, KY; and one granddaughter, Jerrica Sylvie Stapleton.
Funeral Service 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2008 at the Potter Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Brown Cemetery, Hwy 364, West Liberty. Visitation 6 p.m., Wednesday at the Potter Funeral Home.
