Burial took place at the Restland Memorial Garden with the Rev. Tom Jones officiating.
Vincent, an office manager with the Dept. of Agriculture's A.S.C.S. office, was born Sept. 9, 1906 in Tatum. He had lived in Carthage since 1943, moving here from Lufkin. He was an office manager with the Dept. of Agriculture's A.S.C.S. office for a number of years. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Carthage Masonic Lodge #521 A.F. & A.M. and the Carthage Noon Lion's Club.
Vincent died Saturday at Panola General Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Vincent, of Carthage, one son, Lynn Vincent, of Carthage, one brother, Clarence Vincent, of Ingleside, one step-brother, Calvin Vincent, of Houston, one step-sister, Winnie Jones; and four grandchildren, Brenda Vincent, Kay Lynn Vincent, Andy Vincent and Tommy Vincent, all of Carthage.
Vincent was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Dean Vincent.
