George Koenig Last Rites Jan. 24th
Waelder—Funeral services for Mr. George Koenig were held in Dan Antonio on Friday January 24 at10:39 a.m. from the Chapel of the Southside Funeral Home.
Mr. Koenig born in Gonzales county and a former resident of Waelder had made his home in San Antonio the past twenty two years. He was a member of the Cokesbury Methodist church. Veteran of World War I. He was 67 years of age.
He is survived by his wife, tje former Eddie Tomlinson of Waelder, sons George Koenig Jr, Maurice and Lawrence Koenig, sisters Mrs, Minnie Payne, Mrs. Bessie She'll, brothers, W. E. and Charlie Koenig, 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Interment was in the National cemetery, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
