Philip Frank, Loveland Resident, Dies Monday

Philip Frank of 1326 Arthur died Monday afternoon at his home following several months ilness.

Frank was born at Denhof, Russia, the son of Henry and Kathrine Frank. In 1907 the family came to the United States and to Loveland. In 1918 he was united in marriage with Miss Charlotte Eisenach. He spent most of his life farming in the area. In 1957 he retired from the farm and for three years worked for the Great Western M.S.G. plant in Johnstown, retiring in 1961. He was a member of the First Congregational church.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Kathrine Frank of Berthoud; his wife, Charlotte Frank of Loveland; five sons, Philip of Pueblo, Sam and Daniel of Platteville, Melvin of Denver and Allen of Milliken; five daughters, Mrs. Carl Bernhardt and Mrs. William Schwindt of Loveland; Mrs. Henry Gieck and Mrs. Vernon Sterkel of Denver and Mrs. Ed Dill of Platteville; one brother, Henry Frank, of Loveland; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Schmidt of Berthoud and Mrs. Jake Benner of Torrance, Calif., and by 19 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the First Congregational church at 2:00 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Walter Kranzler officiating. Interment will be in Loveland burial park.
