James L. Morris, 81 years old, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L.A. Rosebrook, 330 E. D avenue Monday morning. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Capitol Hill funeral home. Morris was member of Company A, 10th Kansas infantry. He came to Oklahoma at the opening of Caddo county in 1902. He is survived by four children, Mrs. L.L. Morris, Mrs. L.A. Rosebrook and Mrs. S.A. Yost, of Oklahoma City and J.L. Morris jr. of St. Joseph, Mo.

Funeral services for James L. Morris, 81 years old, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L.A. Rosebrook, 330 E. D avenue, Monday, will be conducted at the Capitol Hill Methodist church. Members of the G.A.R. Post will be pall bearers. Mr. Morris is survived by two sons and two daughters, Mrs. L.A. Rosebrook and Mrs. S.A. Yost of Oklahoma City, L.L. Yost of Oklahoma City, and James L. Morris Jr., of St. Joseph, Mo. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery by Capitol Hill Undertaking company.
