Mrs. Englert was born May 24, 1940 in Erie, a daughter of the late Dudley and Jeanette (Elwinger) Hoyt. She provided childcare for about 15 years in the York area. Mrs. Englert was a member of the Welcome Wagon since 1985 and then a member with the Welcome Wagon Alumni. She was a bridge enthusiast and enjoyed playing regularly. Mrs. Englert was a regular contributor to Our Daily Bread in York and was a volunteer at York Hospital. Her true passion was spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband Mrs. Englert is survived by two sons, Gregory P. and wife Sallyanne Englert of Springfield, Va. and their daughter Samantha and Patrick J. and wife Alysia Englert of York and their son Trevor; a brother Jon and wife Chris Hoyt of Erie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
