Philip SIEG, 84, died Sunday at his home in rural Bushong.
He was born March 5, 1867, in Alsace-Loraine, France.
He worked in the Santa Fe freight yards in Topeka for 25 years, then moved to rural Bushong for the past 26 years.
He is survived by his wife, Emma, of the home; one brother, George Sieg of Leavenworth; three sisters, Mrs. Lena WHEELER of Chicago, Mrs. Emma HYDE of Chicago and Mrs. Annie HARLOW of Denver, Colo.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Eskridge Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery.
The Austin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
