Mrs. Louisa Stallbaumer of the Kelly community died at 4:05pm Monday, October 8, 1951, at the Seneca Hospital. She was 78 years old.
Mrs. Stallbaumer was a much-loved mother, a fine woman who took care of the duties of her home and church, a good neighbor, who would help others at any time though she had a large family. In the past few years she had not been well, and troubled by arthritis. She bore her illness with unusual patience.
The funeral service was held October 11, 1951, at St. Bede's Church, Kelly, Ks. Her son, Father Ernest Stallbaumer, O.S.B. offered the Solemn High Mass. Burial was in the church cemetery.
