Mrs. Anna Wichert Armstrong, who lived at 10 South Cottonwood, died Monday night at the home.
No funeral arrangements have been announced.
Mrs. Armstrong was born in Emporia, August 2, 1898, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Wichert. She was married to Tom Armstrong April 24, 1924 at the Sacred Heart Church in Emporia.
She is survived by her husband, of the home; one brother, William A. Wichert, Detroit, Michigan, and one sister, Marie Wichert, 13 Cottonwood. She was a member of the Catholic Church and the Altar society.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tom Armstrong, who died Monday were held Thursday morning at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Alexander Wilberding, OFM, sang the Requiem High Mass. Honorary pallbearers were Matt Brown, Louis Pechal, Junior Ragsdale, John Tholen, George Flott, C. J. Bedner, Tom Mosier, Tony Korte, Any Tolle and Cahrles Toelle. Active pallbearers were Lee Hensler, Greg Toelle, J.J. Kowalski,John Roth, Ed Kowalski and Bill Wieland, Jr. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery and the Rev. Arthus Tonne, OFM, conducted the services at the grave.
Out-of-town relatives who attended the services were Mrs. R.C. Morley and son and Mrs. J.D. Armstrong, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Armstrong and family, Ottawa; and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Rose, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Frith and son and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Cannon, Kansas City, Kansas.
