Central City - Mona H. Neumann, 73, of Central City, died Monday at a Grand Island hospital.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Solt Funeral Home in Central City. The Rev. Gary Schlosser will officiate. Burial will be in Central City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Neumann was born Jan. 9, 1911, at Belgrade, the daughter of John and Ida Osborne Zimmerle. She received her early education in Boone County and was a graduate of Wolbach High School.
She married Ralph C. Neumann on Oct. 8, 1928, at Winner, S.D. They lived in Grand Island until 1960, when they moved to Central City.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Central City, the Pythian Sisters and the Goldenrod Temple.
Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Montelle (Doris) Babb, Mrs. Albert (Lois) Russell and Mrs. Ralph (Carol) Cox, all of Fullerton, Mrs. Rosalie Regan of Central City and Mrs. Leon (Mary Lynn) Lucas of Grand Island; a son, Dale of Lincoln; four sisters, Mrs. Inez Taylor of Central City, Mrs. Earl (Norma) Killinger of Wolbach, Mrs. Dale (Leota) Richards of Columbus and Mrs. Willa Ballard of Santa Rosa, Calif., 26 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, three brothers and two sisters.
