OBITUARY Iron River Reporter July 5 1972 “Local Woman Succumbs”
Mrs. Alma (Mattson) Henriksen, 83, Route 3, Iron River, died Saturday afternoon at her home.
Funeral services were held at 3 Monday afternoon at the Fell Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Kermit Borns officiating. Interment was in Resthaven Cemetery.
The deceased was born April 25, 1889 in Iron River and had been a life-long resident of the Nash District. She was married to Frank Mattson who preceded her in death in 1928, and then to Bernhardt Henriksen, who died in 1969. She had been active in many community affairs.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Ingrid) Bartelli of Marquette, Mrs. Edward (Judith) Johnson of Grand Haven, Mrs. Jack (Shirley) Crane of Wilmington, Del.; two sons, Albert of Grand Haven and Kent of Lapeer; one sister Mrs. Agnes Borns of Iron River; one brother Albert Christensen, also of Iron River; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Sidney and Frank, preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alma (Mattson) Henriksen, 83, Iron River, who died July 1, were held Monday, July 3 at 3 p.m. from Fell Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Kermit Borns officiating.
William Harris sang “In the Garden” and “How Great Thou Art,” accompanied by Mrs. Paul Wilson, organist.
Vernon Bernhardt, Donald Christensen, Kenneth Erickson, Vilio Hakala, Curtis Christensen and Joseph Selinger were pallbearers.
Interment followed in the family plot in Resthaven Cemetery with many out of town friends and relatives in attendance.
Fell Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Kent son age 21 born abt 1919 Michigan. Sidney son age 19 born about 1921 Michigan. Shirley daughter age 18 born about 1922 Michigan. Frank son age 16 born about 1924 Michigan.
