1900 US CENSUS for Iron River Village in Iron County MI shows James Britten head born Oct 1844 Michigan age 55 married 32 years fireman (stave factory). Sarah wife born Aug 1845 England age 55 married 32 years 3 children 2 living immigrated 1856 alien. Mattie daughter born March 1871 Michigan age 29 married 8 years 4 children 4 living [problems here-if married daughter, has different last name & where are the children??]. Richard son born May 1879 [1869] Michigan age 31 married day laborer. Sophie Christenson [Christensen] servant born Sep 1885 Michigan age 14 servant (house).

OBITUARY of Caroline Christensen 1932 says Sophia Demick [Dimick] is her daughter.

OBITUARY of Peter Christensen 1925 says Mrs F N Dimick is his daughter.

INFORMATION FROM WAYNE OHLSSON at www.rootsweb.com says 1900 census shows her as servant for James & Sara Britten.
