Church in Arcadia at 9 a.m. Friday. The Rev. C.A. Ahmann offered requiem mass. He also officiated at committal rites in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Ben Haverkamp, George Mooney, Art Bruch, Clarence Riesberg, Milford Collison and Vincent Collison.
Relatives present from a distance were Mrs. Ida Springman, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sieve, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sieve and Alois Sieve of Wilmont, Minn. Many relative's and friends attended from Halbur, Templeton, Carroll and the surrounding area.
Mr. Hoelscher died at his farm home southeast of Arcadia Tuesday morning. He is survived by two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. John Olberding and Clem Hoelscher, Carroll, Henry Hoelscher and Mrs. Joe Dentlinger, Arcadia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Anton and Elizabeth Kohorst Hoelscher, one brother, Joe Hoelscher, who died in 1945, and two sisters, Magdeline and Josephine, who died in childhood.
