ESTHER BERGMANN Of San Lorenzo, passed peacefully on June 11, 2005. Esther was born to the late Sol and Sarah (Rothschild) Fertig on February 14, 1926, in San Francisco. She will be remembered as a loving inspiration by three surviving children, Paul Bergmann of Pacifica, Calif., David Bergmann of Portland, Ore., and Rachelle Bergmann of Hindsboro, Ill., three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Esther was predeceased by her husband, Allan Bergmann, and sister Ida Perry. Inurnment is to be at the Neptune Society Columbarium in San Francisco on July 9. Memorials may be made to the Chabot Space and Science Center.
