John Wiseman Services To Be Conducted Tuesday
CHESTERTON, Aug. 18--Memorial services for John Peter Wiesemann, 84, of 215 South 9th street, Chesterton, will be held Tuesday.
Wiesemann, a resident of Chesterton for many years died 1 a.m. Saturday in Porter Memorial hospital, Valparaiso, where he had been a patient one week. He had been ill the past year.
The decedent was born Nov. 18, 1876, in Union Mills, Ind. He was a retired carpenter.
On May 18, 1895, he married Elizabeth Rosenburg, in Chesterton. She survives together with six daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Groff, Mrs. Helen Martin, Mrs. Catherine Hoffman and Mrs. Mary Van Loon, all of Chesterton; Mrs. Margaret McIntyre, of Lebanon, Ind., and Mrs. Eleanor Miller of Gary; three sons, Leonard and Ernest Wiesemann, of Chesterton and Benjamin Wiesemann, of Lakeview, Ore; three brothers, Charles, Frank and Thomas Wiesemann, all of Chesterton; 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic churdh, Chesterton, with the Rev. Ralph Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery.
Friends may call at the Edmond's Funeral home this evening and until time of services.
