The Galveston Daily News, Tuesday Morning November 22, 1983
LA PORTE – Services for Connie Key, 18, a student, will be at 2 p.m. today at Clear Lake Presbyterian Church in Clear Lake City. Dr. B. J. Cannon and the Rev. David Reiter officiating.
Burial will be at Forest Park East in League City, under direction of Jack Rowe Funeral Home of League City.
Miss Key died Sunday in Austin.
She was born Nov 24, 1964, in Dallas, and was attending the University of Texas at Austin. A graduate of La Porte High School, Miss Key was a member of Clear Lake Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Key of La Porte, a sister, Kathaleen Doerr of Houston; and grand parents Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Key of Childress and Ethel Richardson of Austin.
Pallbearers will be Rick McLean, Matt Henry, Glen Fitzjerrell, Jim Andrews, Stefan Roehr and Doug Linton.
Memorials may be sent to the Clear Lake Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
