Ines George, 89, of Breckenridge died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, in Breckenridge. Funeral service with the Rev. Leo Brooks officiating will be at 10 a.m. today, Jan.31, at the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery. The Family received friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.
Mrs. George was born June 1, 1919, in Winnsboro, to Elmer Dink Chambers and Russie Lee Jackson Chambers. She Married Robert Nuel George Sept. 29, 1935, in Sulphur Bluff. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 16, 1989; parents; and a granddaughter, Kristi Kay Collins.



Survivors include her daughters, Martha Noggle and husband Alford and Kathy Collins and husband Jerry all of Breckenridge; brother, Albert Dink Chambers of Longview; granddaughters, Julia Graves and Pamela Wright, both of Breckenridge; grandson, Brent Collins of Dallas; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity and can be left at the funeral home.
