Jerry P. Lundgren, 68, passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at a local hospice.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Jaybird Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Jerry was born March 21, 1940, in Fort Worth to Elmer and Aileen Lundgren. He was raised on the north side and graduated from Northside High School where he excelled in football. He owned and operated B & L Rental for over 30 years before his retirement.
He was a good ol' boy who would do anything to avoid a confrontation. He lived to cook and was well known for his homemade potato soup and potato salad.
Survivors: Wife, Linda Lundgren of Fort Worth; sons, Scotty Lundgren of Saginaw and Jerry Lundgren Jr. and Terry Lundgren, both of Fort Worth; brother, Larry Lundgren and wife, Jean, of Azle; sister, Teresa Ann Stewart; and closest friends, Jimmy Riscky and Wally Culps.
