MARTIN SEILER
Last rites were held Monday at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold for Martin J. Seiler, 65 years old, who died suddenly Friday at his home near Leopold. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at the funeral home Sunday evening. Mr. Seiler, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Seiler, was born June 9, 1898, in St. Louis. He had lived in the Leopold community for many years where he farmed. On October 22, 1919, he was married to Miss Hannah Landewee, who survives; also, two daughters, Mrs. Stanley Thiele and Mrs. Henry Holzum, both of Lutesville; three brothers, August and Carl Seiler of St. Louis and Elmer Seiler of Lutesville, seven sisters, Mr. Robert Holzum of St. Charles, Mrs. Gilbert Brine, Mrs. Ed Curtis, Mrs. Alexea Della and Sister Joseph Anne, all of St. Louis, Mrs. Vincnt Renaud of Overland and Mrs. Ben Vandeven of Lutesville and ten grandchildren.
