MRS. DOROTHY DIERKING DIES AT HOME NEAR HERKIMER
Mrs. Dorothy Dierking died at her home three and a quarter miles northwest of Herkimer Sunday, Dec. 5, after a week's illness with pneumonia. Funeral services were held at the West German Church at Herkimer Wednesday morning and interment was in the North Cemetery.
Mrs. Dierking was born in Germany, Dec. 4, 1850. Her husband died about twenty-four years ago. She is survived by four sons and two daughters. She had been a resident of the Herkimer neighborhood for many years and was a woman of many good qualities. Her death is sincerely mourned by her many friends in that community.
