FRITCH – Carl Monroe Hogue, Jr., 57, died Friday, March 6, 2009 in Fritch.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Fritch with Bro. Danny Courtney, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. Carl was born on July 21, 1951 in Colgate, Okla. and lived in Fritch since 1977. He graduated from Sunray High School in 1969. He married Teresa Carson on May 16, 1976, in Borger. He was a welder for Venables. He loved to weld and play with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ilene Hogue in 1998 and his nephew Korey Hogue in 2002.

Survivors include his wife Teresa Hogue of the home, two daughters, Melanie Mihm and husband Woody and Jennifer Hogue, all of Fritch; his father and stepmother, Carl and Laverne Hogue Sr. of Sunray; a brother Gary Wayne Hogue of Ada, Okla., a sister Velma Haldeman of Dumas, and 10 grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Dale Hogue, Ronnie Hogue, Kelly Hogue, Chris Hogue, Ryan Hogue, Mike Hill, Bobby Lay, and Junior Purdy and honorary casket bearers will be Dewey Bain, Jeremy Baine and Salvador Mesa.
